學生書包減重建議

根據《學校運作指南》的 “減輕學生書包重量”指引,學生書包重量不應超過學生體重的15%。學校於2021/2022年度第一次書包抽查結果顯示,有32.58%的小學生書包超重。請各位家長正視書包超重問題,為學生書包減負,給家長以下幾點建議:

1.選用雙肩背式書包(尼龍護脊書包),少用笨重的滾輪拖拉式書包。
2.選用簡約膠水瓶 及 網狀筆袋及適量文具。
3.督促子弟每天執拾書包,勿攜帶過多的雜物。
4.定期檢查學生書包重量。
5.定期檢查學生書包肩帶左右長度,如長度不一,容易導致肩膊承受力度不同,影響健康。
6.提醒子弟經常保持正確和良好的身體姿勢,不正確的背書包姿勢會導致頸痛、肩膊痛、腰痛及影響發育等問題。
8.留意觀察子女是否有脊柱側彎或背痛情況,如有懷疑,及早請教醫護人員。
9. 學童應保持適量的戶外運動,強化骨骼。
According to the “Reducing the weight of students’ school bags” guideline in the School Operation Guide, the weight of students’ school bags should not exceed 15% of students’ body weight. The results of the first school bag survey in 2021/2022 showed that 32.58% of primary school students’ school bags were overweight. Parents are advised to address the problem of overweight school bags and to reduce the weight of students’ school bags according to the following suggestions:

1. Use a shoulder bag (nylon spine protection school bag) instead of a heavy trolley school bag.
2. Use a simple glue pen and mesh pencil pouches with the appropriate amount of stationery.
3. Guide children to pick up their school bags every day and not to carry too many items.
4. Check the weight of students’ school bags regularly.
5. Check the length of the shoulder straps of students’ school bags regularly as they may not be of the same length, which may lead to different stress on the shoulders and affect their health.
6. Remind your child to maintain a correct and good posture at all times. Incorrect posture to bear the schoolbag can lead to neck pain, shoulder pain, lower back pain and affect their body development.
8. Observe your child for scoliosis or back pain, and seek early medical advice if you suspect it.
9. Keep your child doing exercise regularly outdoors to strengthen their bones.
